Why hello there. Thankyou for visiting my first ever blog page!! I must confess i'm pretty excited about it-a blank canvas to babble, shout, muse and laugh on...I think I'll shout first of all though-about my debut album "BOY CRIES WOLF"!!! Yep indeed. It's taken almost a year and a lot of patience and gum bleeding-but on the 13th September, "Boy Cries Wolf' will be unleashed upon your goodselves. Myself and Ellen Smith(of Ellen+The Escapades)did a video for one of the album songs,"Behind The Door" with Nathan Camponi-the video will be online very shortly, but until then why not have a look at some stills from the shoot; www.natecamponi.com. The official album launch is on the 13th September at The Brudenell Social Club in Hyde Park,Leeds. Tickets will be available from Crash and Jumbo records in Leeds very shortly,so do be patient...that's it for now-do come back again soon...G x

    Kendal Calling…

Just got back from Kendal Calling, what an awesome festival! Great site, so much to do but you still feel like you are in the proper great outdoors with all the scenic surroundings. Went courtesy of Mr Gary Stewart which was good!

Lots of Rum was consumed including some very special Morgans rum and my new favourite Lambs Spiced Rum, it tastes like christmas and saved my life once, but thats another story for another day!

Highlights include a fantastic set by Pulled Apart by Horses including a lot of clambering up tent poles, many games of shit head in the shish tent, a Main Stage performance by Gary Stewart with help from Adam Legend and Kieran O’Malley, pre-set they found themselves with the unlikely task of playing the music to a HUGE game of pass the parcel that was taking place infront of the stage organised by they lovely folk at the Ladybird stage. Those kids were practically ripping each other apart, great fun!

3 FANTASTIC comedians later on had me weeing myself with laughter, a man getting a small child to throw knives at him, always funny. A great spoken word set and later music set by Micky P Kerr had the crowd fixated, generally tomfoolery and japes all around.

There will be more photos from Kendal (and Hop Farm which i’ve not yet posted about as i have no photographic evidence of as yet!)

Just wanna thank Gav and Gary for a whole bucket of fun!
